Helping Homeless Pets Find A Home

Apr 04, 2016

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is an organization that takes in over 3,200 animals a year and provides them with food, love, attention, medical care and behavioral support while they wait to find an adoptive home.  SPCA of Wake County prides themselves in being a no-kill organization. In helping with this, the organization runs a volunteer Foster Program that allows the volunteers to care for the animals in their own home since they are not yet candidates for adoption due to age or illness.
